Mission & Vision
Mission
Committed to empowering our communities mental health journey through a blend of traditional and complementary approaches, that nurture the mind, care for the body and uplift the soul.
Vision
Establish a nurturing and inclusive safe haven where individuals from all walks of life feel supported and empowered on their mental wellness journey.
Our Purpose
Our founders are longtime professionals in community health and mental health, with deep roots in serving underserved populations. Their work is also personal—shaped by their own mental health journeys. Navigating traditional Western approaches like therapy offered valuable tools, but true transformation came through incorporating Eastern healing practices such as mindfulness, somatic work, and holistic modalities. This integrative path revealed what healing could truly look like, inspiring them to create a space where others could experience the same.
They chose Baltimore as the home for Tranquil Essence because of its spirit, history, and the community-driven efforts already underway to uplift the city. Yet as development continues, too often the people most impacted are left without real healing or support. Our founders came to be part of the change—to offer meaningful, inclusive care and to educate communities about mental wellness in ways that are accessible and culturally conscious. Whether you’re just beginning or uncertain where to start, this is a space where your healing matters.
-
We start with safety. Emotional safety, cultural humility, and body-centered care ground everything we do—because healing cannot happen without stability and trust.
-
We honor the courage it takes to confront trauma, pain, and imbalance. Through holistic, trauma-informed practices, we hold space for deep, authentic healing to unfold.
-
Wellness is not just a destination—it’s a way of living. We help individuals integrate healing into their everyday lives with purpose, presence, and power.
-
Healing is empowerment. We help individuals reclaim their stories and their sense of self—especially in communities that have historically been silenced or underserved.
-
Healing is personal—and powerful. We empower individuals with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to take ownership of their mental and emotional wellness.
Our Pillars of Healing
Our Founders
Guided by Healing, Grounded in Community
Tranquil Essence emerged from the intersection of personal healing and a longstanding commitment of serving in public health. We understand that healing is not one-size-fits-all—it requires compassion, cultural understanding, and integrative care.
We chose Baltimore to be part of real, lasting change. Our mission is to provide a safe, holistic space where everyone feels supported—no matter where they are on their journey.

Co-Founder and PresidentEileen Delgado is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and a dedicated mental health advocate with over 15 years of experience in the public health sector. Eileen has provided clinical care across diverse community settings, integrating both traditional approaches and complementary healing modalities into her practice.
Eileen’s work is deeply rooted in compassion, lived experience, and a belief in the power of whole-person healing. Raised in The Bronx, she grew up surrounded by poverty, gang violence, substance use, and limiting beliefs about what was possible. Against these odds, Eileen forged her own path—becoming a clinician, leader, and healer—embodying the very transformation she now helps others achieve.
Her personal journey is a testament to the effectiveness of holistic modalities in healing trauma, restoring balance, and reconnecting individuals to their inner light. Eileen is passionate about helping others unlock their full potential, reclaim their sense of purpose, and truly live the life they deserve. Through Tranquil Essence, she leads the development of integrative wellness programming that bridges clinical care with complementary practices, creating accessible, culturally responsive pathways to healing for underserved communities.

Co-Founder and Vice PresidentRahmell Dash was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York where he grew up surrounded by gang violence, substance use, and environments where hope often felt out of reach. Determined to change his narrative, he pursued higher education at Virginia State University, earning a degree in business and later a Master of Business Administration.
While in college, Rahmell joined Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., where the principles of Culture for Service and Service for Humanity became the foundation of his life’s purpose—serving underserved and marginalized communities, particularly those impacted by mental illness. This calling led him to establish and operate mental health organizations and group homes, where he began to recognize a critical gap in traditional models of care.
Rahmell’s passion for holistic wellness deepened through his own healing journey. While navigating unfortunate circumstances and his own mental health challenges, he experienced moments of hopelessness that led him to integrate traditional therapy with holistic, mind–body practices. Through this process, Rahmell began to truly heal—mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
Coming full circle, Rahmell co-founded Tranquil Essence to walk fully in his purpose: educating communities on alternative and complementary healing practices, restoring balance, and helping individuals heal from within. His mission is to ensure holistic, culturally responsive wellness services are accessible to all—regardless of financial circumstances—so every person has the opportunity to reclaim their well-being and live a life rooted in wholeness.
